The next France Loto draw is on the next Monday, Wednesday or Saturday at 8:20 pm Paris time. FDJ, the French national lottery operator, draws three times a week, all year, and play closes at 8:15 pm on draw days. That is 7:20 pm in the UK and Nigeria, 11:50 pm in India and 2:20 am the next morning in the Philippines while Paris is on summer time. Results appear on FDJ's site and app from about 8:45 pm.

France Loto draw days and time

FDJ's own how-to-play page states that France Loto draws take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 8:20 pm, and that this is also the last moment to cancel a stake. The jackpot game is a single French draw: five numbers from 1 to 49 plus a numéro Chance from 1 to 10. There is no draw on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday or Sunday; the Monday, Wednesday and Saturday pattern is what the ticket schedule, and the jackpot rollover, follow.

What time is the France Loto draw in your country?

Paris moves between Central European Summer Time (CEST, UTC+2) and Central European Time (CET, UTC+1) on the last Sundays of March and October. The 8:20 pm draw stays fixed in Paris, so the local time elsewhere shifts with the clocks. For countries that keep one time all year (Nigeria, South Africa, India, the Philippines, Perth) the draw moves by an hour when Paris changes; for the UK it stays at 7:20 pm because London changes on the same weekends.

Where the draw falls after midnight, it counts as the next calendar day locally: a Saturday-night draw is a Sunday-morning event in the Philippines and Australia. Sydney and Melbourne change clocks on different dates from Europe, so for a few weeks around March and October the gap is an hour different from the table; check your clock on those weeks. The European clock change is on the last Sunday of October, which in 2026 is 25 October.

When do ticket sales close for the France Loto draw?

FDJ says you can place a France Loto stake until 8:15 pm on draw days, five minutes before the draw. For a player abroad that is not the real deadline. A lottery courier has to buy your grid from a French retailer or FDJ before then and scan it to your account, so treat the afternoon in Paris as your cut-off. In practice that means ordering by lunchtime Paris time (11:00 am in the UK, 3:30 pm in India during summer time) and not on the evening of the draw.

When are the France Loto results published?

FDJ publishes the results on its Loto results page and in its app from about 8:45 pm, and TF1 shows the draw on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at around 8:35 pm. The televised draw therefore airs shortly after the machines run, and the official numbers follow within the half hour. Our France Loto results page lists the latest numbers.

Next draw jackpot and what a grid costs

A France Loto grid costs €2.20. The jackpot is guaranteed at €2 million and rises by €1 million each draw nobody wins it, with no cap; the record is €30 million, paid in December 2021. The current jackpot is shown on FDJ's Loto page and changes after every draw, so check it on the morning you buy. The chance of winning the jackpot is 1 in 19,068,840, set out in full in our France Loto odds and prizes guide.

Playing the next France Loto draw from abroad

FDJ's own online sales are limited to players located in France, so players elsewhere use a licensed courier that buys an official grid on their behalf. French lottery prizes are paid in full with no tax withheld in France, though your home country may tax foreign winnings. Compare the game with the next EuroMillions draw, which FDJ also runs, or see draw times for every major lottery. The game's rules, prize ranks and the €2.20 refund rank are on the France Loto game page. Play only what you can afford to lose.
