No ticket matched all six numbers in the Wednesday, October 21, 2026 Powerball drawing, rolling the jackpot to an estimated $674 million - about $289.1 million cash - for the Saturday, October 24 draw.
The jackpot right now
The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $674 million after no ticket matched all six numbers in the Wednesday, October 21, 2026 drawing. The advertised figure is the annuity jackpot, paid over 30 years; the one-time cash option is smaller, listed by the official operator at $289.1 million before taxes.
The no-winner draw
The winning numbers on October 21 were 1, 21, 44, 50 and 57 with Powerball 5, and the Power Play multiplier was 2x. Nobody won the jackpot. Two tickets matched all five white balls plus the Power Play option for $2 million prizes, sold in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and one New Jersey ticket matched all five white balls to win $1 million. Reports describe it as the 30th consecutive drawing without a jackpot winner; the last jackpot was won on August 12, 2026. The next drawing is Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 10:59 p.m. ET.
How it compares
At an estimated $674 million this is among the larger prizes offered in 2026, though it is well short of the game's record jackpot of $2.04 billion from November 2022. The jackpot keeps growing with each drawing until a ticket matches all six numbers.
How to play
Powerball draws are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m. ET. Players pick five white balls and one red Powerball. You do not need to live in the United States to take part - a licensed lottery courier can buy an official ticket on your behalf for the same draw and jackpot. Always confirm the current jackpot and draw time with the official operator before playing. Players must be 18 or older.
